Lambda CDM cluster simulations

Simulations

We resimulated refined Lambda CDM cubes with a mass resolution of about 2*10^7 solar masses. We used the cosmological parameters from WMAPs first year data best fit without running spectral index (astro-ph/0304549). The initial conditions were generated using E. Bertschingers GRAFIC2 package. These simulations were carried out by J. Diemand, J. Stadel and B. Moore using the zBox supercomputer at University of Zurich. The pictures and movies in this page are freely available with a suitable credit and reference.
